为了帮助人民渡过难关和对抗疫情，马来西亚首相曾在2020年3月期间宣布家庭收入 RM8000 以下的家庭可获得国家关怀援助金 (Bantuan Prihatin Nasional, BPN)。半年后，首相于9月23日公布主题为《 Kita Prihatin 的关怀援助计划》，其中包括继续推出国家关怀援助金 2.0 (Bantuan Prihatin Nasional 2.0).
- B40 的家庭或月入 RM4000 令吉和以下的家庭，将获得 RM1000 令吉现金。约370万户家庭受惠。
- M40 的家庭或月入 RM4000 至 RM8000 令吉的家庭，将获得 RM600 令吉现金。约140万户家庭受惠。
- B40 的单身人士或月入 RM2000 令吉和以下的单身人士，将获得 RM500 令吉现金。约380万人受惠。
- M40 的单身人士或月入 RM2000 令吉以上至 RM4000 令吉的单身人士，将获得 RM300 令吉现金。约170万人受惠。
符合资格的 B40 和 M40 群体无需重新提出申请，政府将会依据现有的数据库派发援助金。国家关怀援助金 2.0 将分2个阶段派发，也就是10月杪和2021年1月份。
BPN 2.0 援助金分2个阶段派发
B40 家庭可在10月杪获得 RM700，2021年1月获得 RM300。M40 家庭可在10月杪获得 RM400，2021年1月获得 RM200。
B40 单身人士可在10月杪获得 RM350，2021年1月获得 RM150。M40 单身人士可在10月杪获得 RM200，2021年1月获得 RM100。
